The Cancer Council ACT co-facilitates a support group for people with cancer of the lung or mesothelioma and/or their families and friends. Arthritis ACT run warm water exercise sessions as part of their Warm Water Exercise Program (WWX) at 4 locations across the ACT.

The sessions are supervised by WWX volunteers trained in rescue and resuscitation, but volunteers do not provide instruction or exercise advice to participants. Participants are encouraged to consult a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist for an individual exercise program. Medical clearance from a doctor is required prior to acceptance into WWX.
