Rosella Occupational Therapy
Rosella Occupational Therapy are experienced in providing services to older people; people with dementia, chronic disease (heart, lung, circulation issues), neurological conditions and orthopaedic conditions (e.g. after hip replacement, broken bone); and people with severe mental health conditions. They are a home visiting service for the ACT and local NSW areas and work closely with community services and local equipment supply and building businesses.
Rosella Occupational Therapy services include:
- Designing home modifications e.g. rails, ramps, bathroom access
- Prescribing assistive equipment and aids e.g. walkers, kitchen tools, hospital beds
- Recommending ways to reduce fall risks
- Devising safer or easier ways to do things e.g. cooking, gardening, dressing
- Producing living skills development programs
- Providing advice about on support needs
- Referrals to other services as required
