AIS - Group fitness classes
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) offer a variety of group fitness classes. These include:
- Yoga Plus, a yoga class comprising stretching, strength, balance and relaxation
- Pilates, a class for practical 'posture practice' for those interested in good postural-habit formation
- Stretch for Strength, a class which aims to maintain and improve optimal function and slow the decline of flexibility and strength as we age
- Tai Chi, a class for improved balance and flexibility, enhanced blood and lymph flow, strengthening of the joints, reducing stress, treat depression and slowing down the ageing process
